When Can I Register for the Event?

Closing date for entries to the Chennai rally is Wednesday, 10th March 2020 (1700 hrs).
However, late entries to be received before 15th March 2020 (1700 hrs) with an additional late fine of Rs. 11,800/-.

What is the Entry Procedure?

Those wishing to take part in the 41st South India Rally 2020 must send the enclosed entry form, duly completed, to the Permanent Secretariat at Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC), Chandhok Centre (Carex Centre), 244 (Old No:713) Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 006 (Visit the club’s official website http://www.madrasmotorsports.com or email directly to register@inrcindia.org for more information).

Entries must be submitted prior to 1700 hrs Wednesday, 20 March 2020. If the entry is sent by facsimile or email, the original must be couriered and the organisers must receive it latest by 15th March 2020.

How Many Teams Can Participate?

The maximum number of entries shall be 45 cars.

If more than 45 entries are received the organizers reserve the right to decide which entries will be accepted.

What Are The Accepted Classes for the Chennai INRC Event?

INDIAN NATIONAL RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP (Overall)

Cars homologated in a year will be notified in Bulletin issued by the FMSCI and these cars can take part after 30 days from the date of homologation or as decided by the FMSCI.

FIA Article 254 FMSCI Homologated Cars with FMSCI R Regulations FIA Homologated R2B / R2C Cars with FIA R2B/R2C – FIA Article 260 Compete for INRC Up to 2050 cc Normally Aspirated. FMSCI INRC 2 Regulations Compete for INRC 2 & INRC Up to 2050 cc Normally Aspirated FMSCI INRC 3 Regulations Compete for INRC 3 & INRC Up to 2050 cc Normally Aspirated Age less than 25 years (born on or after 1st January 1995) Those who have won any of the IRC / INRC / JINRC titles in the past are not eligible FMSCI INRC 3 Regulations Compete for JINRC, INRC 3 & INRC Only for Honda City VTEC, Maruti Esteem and Maruti Baleno homologated prior to 31st December 2007. FMSCI INRC 3 Regulations. *For all the above Championships (from INRC till INRC-NR4), a minimum of 5 cars to be registered for for each class to run.

**The FMSCI reserves the right to introduce any other class(es) that will run as support classes to INRC and will not be classified in the INRC classification.

What are the Entry Fees?

For the Chennai leg of INRC 2020, entry fees to be submitted before 10th March (1700 hrs) will be:

FMSCI Championship Category with optional advertisement without optional advertisement
INRC Rs. 44,250/- Double the Entry Fee
INRC 2 Rs. 38,350/-
INRC / JINRC Rs. 32,450/-
INRC 4 Rs. 17,700/-
INRC – NR4 Rs. 29,500/-
FMSCI SUV Challenge Rs. 11,800/-

Conditions:

  • Minimum 5 cars are required to form a class.
  • Team Entrant Manufacturer: Rs 1,18,000/- additional Per Car
  • Team Entrant Others : 11,800/- additional per car
  • A team entry can enter a maximum number of 3 cars only.
  • Late Entries to be received before 10th March 2020, 1700 Hrs
  • Late entries may only be accepted by paying an additional fee of Rs 11,800/-
  • All fees mentioned above is inclusive of 18% GST

How Do I Pay?

The entry fees can be paid either by cash or by Cheque / DD in favor of Madras Motor Sports Club, payable at Chennai. The amount can be also deposited into the organisers bank account provided below.

Any Refund Policies?

Entry Fees will be refunded in full only:

  • To Candidates whose entry has not been accepted
  • In the case of the Rally not taking place

The Organisers may refund 50% of the entry fee to those competitors who, for reasons of "Force Majeure" (duly accepted by the organizing committee), were unable to start in the Rally.
